Join us for a family paddle at the Chaz River! Kids are welcome.
Chassahowitzka River is a wide river with an easy current and beautiful scenery. Along the river are many bird-watching and wildlife viewing opportunities, including manatees, otters, and deer. The water temp is a refreshing 72 degrees year round!
This is a 2-hour leisurely paddle. There are swimming holes with cave diving for the adventurous, so bring your mask and snorkel.
We’ll park at the campground, where we launch our paddle boards and return to the same spot. No need for a shuttle on this one.
Tandem boards are available. This paddle is for beginners and experienced a-like. All will have a great time!
$25 BYOB (bring your own board)
What to bring? Bathing suit, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, water and pack a lunch! (Snorkel and mask are optional)
